Medical Massage is increasingly being prescribed to complement traditional medical treatment for illness, injury and pain.
Medical Massage Therapy

The studied benefits of Medical-based Massage Therapy are numerous. Reduction in muscle tension and pain, stress, reduced blood pressure, improved circulation, and elimination of toxins are some significant ways massage helps you recover faster from injury and stay well. Our massage therapists blend deep tissue, neuromuscular, Swedish, and reflexology customized to the client and their individual needs and preference to release soft tissue tension. The methods used are excellent for increasing relaxation, speeding healing and recovery times from injury, and promoting lymph drainage.
Our Massage Therapist has over 20 years of hands-on experience with methods and medical training that can help you relieve pain, find more comfort, and improve overall function in your body.
Therapeutic Exercises and Home Care

Therapeutic exercises and home care is designed to speed your pain relief progress and maintain your health once you regain it. Stretches or stability exercises to work on deficient areas are prescribed based on your condition to target areas that need to be loosened or stabilized to make a full recovery and maintain it.
At GFC, we look at a computer-based graphical analysis of your body, consider your medical history and current area(s) of discomfort, and combine those with our clinical assessment. We do all of this so that we can educate you about why your body hurts the way it does, and give you helpful take-home exercises to help prevent future injury and discomfort.
Graphical Posture Analysis

Do you find yourself constant feeling like something is out of place? We look at your biomechanics and use that to work with your overall structure to help make sure we can help you correct your problem and keep it fixed. This analysis encompasses the musculoskeletal system and is a great tool for customizing your care program.

Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization is another effective way of removing adhesions (stuck spots) in injured tissues. The injured tissue is broken down, and healing then occurs. Conditions that can be helped by this technique include: plantar fasciitis, epicondylitis (golf and tennis elbow), tendinitis, shoulder pain, and scarring.
